Just wondering - Of the Paladins here, who all are eagerly awaiting the Paladin class change announcement this Friday like it was Christmas morning?

Conversely, who all is expecting the absolute worst and might just chew their fingernails down to the skeleton while we wait?

I'm on the fence, been playing my Paladin.since Burning Crusade (I was a Hunter previously), love the class, love everything it became in BC and in Wrath through all the ups and downs. Healing is what I want to stick with, but I also feel like I have a lot of cooldowns and self-buffs to manage just to be able to compete with other healers.

That's not really problematic, I enjoy the things that I do in order to be amongst the best healers, but I feel like with this move towards "OMG H33lerz n33d m0ar buttonz!" it will be less enjoyable. I understand what Druids and Priests have to do, but even with their huge spell books, every class is pretty much 2-3 healing spells with some fun cooldowns or emergency spells.

I'm excited to see what new mechanics we could end up with after seeing Druid and Shaman, but I'm not really going to be a fan of healing in melee gear if that's what they end up deciding for the sake of gear homogenization.

Thoughts? Concerns? Shall we remain blissfuly ignorant for 5 more days? lol

I'm intrigued by them. I've played a Paladin longer than I care to admit, so like some of the other long time players despite all of the changes since vanilla (BoK 31 points in ret, lolwut?) I still find myself reluctant to believe anything blizzard posts regarding changes, especially this far in advance. Basically, I'd say it's best to not get excited just yet.
